My one red hen is molting, what causes it? Is it stress? I've noticed since I cleaned all the old winter straw and stuff out of there coop my 2 black lace hens have been picking on my one red hen and she waits till later in the afternoon to lay her egg ('s). They were all raised together so I don't what to do,

Welcome to BYC!
There are several reasons why a bird might be losing or picking feathers.

This time of year I would suspect stress stemming from sustained egg production, heat, social issues and likely a diet that is a little lean on the protein side. With some chickens that are closer to the wild-type in terms of feather replacement pattern you can also expect to see sequential replacement of flight feathers on the wings. Your description more consistent with stress.
