When my 11 month old RIR started molting, I thought they had mange! I cleaned out their coop and sprayed and bathed with DE and other natural coop bug killer, coop cleaner even sprayed with my home-made eucalyptus spray. After writing to several chicken experts, I found out my 2 of 3 girls were molting so I did not want anyone else to panic as I did. here is what my girls look like
