Mom decided to hatch quail. How to care for them???

Did you have a question or questions about hatching? We are happy to help.
I'm just finding that my quail are hatching several days apart from another. I think the eggs are done and go to bring them out only to find a new one pipped and bring them back in, give them a few more days to hatch only to find another hatching when I bring them out again. Do they usually hatch three or four days apart from each other??

If they’re hatching days apart, it probably means the temp fluctuated during incubation and/or there are hot and cool spots in your incubator.

It is very unusual for eggs set the same day to hatch days apart. So there’s probably some wildly different temps going on in there. Next time I would move the eggs around each day so they all experience the same hot and cold areas equally. You can also test the temp with a calibrated thermometer all over the incubator area and see where the temp fluctuates and try to just keep them in similar areas.

Maybe. Our bator has never had that problem though. It's not impossible.

I already gave my advice. I don't think OP read any of the information I gave, though.
I read the articles you posted already. Had them sent to my mom as well so she could read them to. Have to reread them again though.
