Mom hen abandoned the rest of the eggs?

I have a hen who hatched some chicks about 6 days ago and she’s been walking around with them and showing them how to eat, drink ect... and she sleeps with them outside of the nest where there is still some eggs. She sat on 20 eggs all together and 8 hatched. She hasn’t sat on the eggs still in the nest in a while like 3 days and nothings coming out. I candles them and I can see there’s something in there. Is what’s in there still alive?

If you got an incubator, stick them in but after 3 days of no warmth, they may not be viable & rotting. Where are you located?

Do they smell? Sweating?

Did you start the eggs under your broody at the same time?
Cold for 3 days has probably killed any that were not hatched yet.
20 eggs sounds like twice as many as the largest breed chicken i know of should be set with.
Was your hen in the coop where other hens laid fresh eggs daily?
