The baby is here!

He was born today at 12:24.

He's 6 pounds 6 ounces and very cute.

I got to hold him while he was asleep. It was so cute.

Mom is doing great except that he blood pressure is still high. Other than that she's doing great. We still haven't decided on a name, but I think that we're leaning torwards Trace Garrett. Thank you all for your prayers and if you don't mind, could you keep us in your prayers that mom's blood pressure goes down? Thank you so so so much. I'm just SO happy that he's here and healthy and adorable!

Didn't see this untill now (when all the excitement is over) but wanted to post that I have a one month old baby right now, and he was my first c-section.

It is amazing how DIFFICULT it has been to recover. It wasn't until he was a month old that I felt I could really do things. Even making a super quick dinner was very difficult.

Anyway, I thought I would mention, so that you can remember that it will take your mom a LONG time to recover.
