Hi I have never had a hen hatch chicks before. It is now late November and I was wondering if they need extra warmth or if they need to be separated from the other chickens.
 
If the chicks are nestling under mama and mama is caring for them, they will all be fine. It's perfectly normal for chicks to experience some cold weather and explore. When they get cold they'll come back to mom to warm up again. The cool exposure will actually help them to feather out quicker and be ready for the winter.

Only if the mama abandons them and they're not fully feathered yet should you have to make other arrangements.
