Momma to 8 lovely, moody, and sometimes mouthy ladies

If you can buy or otherwise obtain fertile eggs, you could swap out the ones you hen is sitting on and give her the good eggs instead. That way she will be pleased to actually hatch out chicks. If she won't leave the nest at least once a day to eat/drink and poop you should put her out for 10-20 minutes so she can. OR you might try putting her feed & water near her nesting box, s o she can part take if she wants to. Broody poops are especially obnoxious because they hold them in so long - be for warned.

Thank-you so much I got 6 fertilized eggs today so were starting the count down very excited hope its productive I know she really wants to be a moma
