Oh ok! I have some! I'll put it in his water today, thank you!!! His voice actually sounded slightly louder this morning around 6:30. Poor Moose, he/she is such a good boy/girl LOL

Moose's voice is completely lost! I have been racking my brain and the internet to figure out what is going on and I came across an article that totally fits his symptoms! Gape worm! I have never wormed my geese!! Remember, they aren't even a year old, I'm still learning! I need to worm them I think! Gape worm can cause voice loss! It wouldn't hurt in any case!

Which medication should I buy for parasites?

I lost a rooster to gape worm last June, used the wrong wormer on him Safe guard is the best but casportpony will have to give you dosage hopefully she'll see this.

Oh I hope casportpony sees my post!!! I need to give it to him today, he is getting worse!!! I have the safeguard right here! I just need to know how much to put down his throat. Also, should I give some to Lucy too?

Ok, I think I need to give him 3ml of safeguard. It says to give 6 ml for goats that are 25 pounds. Have of 25 is 12.5, so I figured 3 ml as it's half of 6. Do I only give this once?

For a 13.5 bird I would give 3ml orally for *5* consecutive days. That dose will treat both gapeworms and capillary worms.

If you have others, the dose is 0.23 ml per pound. Let me know if you need help with the math.

Do you know how to put this down their throat? you have to be careful where it goes it don't want liquid going into the air sacs.

Ok, I'm sorry to sound stupid, but cc and ml are the same right? So 3cc down the throat for 5 days? I just read 3cc in 1 gallon of water for 2 days? I'm so scared to over dose! As far as dosing, I put a 4 inch airline tube on the end of the syringe and hold open his beak and put the tube down and put the medication in. This is how I have been giving his antibiotics. Am I doing this wrong?
