I have this ee chick, I was thinking it was a hen, but some feathers near it's tail has been growing in, It's 14 weeks old. Any help is appreciated!

Wow, she was debeaked hard (or maybe I'm just not used to seeing it).. might make foraging and preening a little harder in the same way cross beak does.

Here is a good saddle photo (from google) starting to be easily seen in non hen-feathered breeds around 12 weeks in most birds (first pic) More flowing closer to 16 ish+ weeks (2nd pic).. Sometimes feather pattern can make rounded feathers LOOK pointy. Placing your fingers or a sheet of paper behind them can help make it easier to discern..
