Question for Moe:
I am planning to start building a very similar run this weekend.

I am curious how far your vertical 4x4's are buried and what length 4x4 you used.

Also, is the wire attached to the framing with lathe screws?

chills...15 chicks

answer for ozimmerman...the 4x4's are 8 footers buried 2 feet in the ground and cemented. I wanted to be able to walk in easily. I'm a little shy of 6 feet so it's perfect.

The harware cloth is attatched with primeguard exterior screws and washers, an idea frequently mentioned on this site. If you use screws I highly recomend a star or square drive screw.
