Out of 15 eggs, 12 made it to day 14. I had one baby hatch in the early morning hours this morning, another egg has a 1" hole, 2 more have pipped. My question is, my temp/humidity gauge says "HI" for humidity. Should I remove some of the water I have in there or leave it alone? Would I do more damage opening the bator than leaving the water there?

Leave it alone sounds like they are hatching fine if it isn't broke don't fix it LOL

Humidity always raises when the chicks start to hatch...no need to do anything, don't open that bator

I ended up opening my bator yesterday. One chick fell in the small bowl of water I had in there to raise humidity (I had a really hard time getting humidity up) and I was afraid they were going to drown. I've had 6 hatch since yesterday morning

. Only 5 more to go and one has pipped.
