Mosaic Chickens!

6 weeks old and started crowing this morning! Although he has the stance and attitude of a cockrell he has minimal comb or waddles! Anyone else with chicks this age? Wondering how similar they look as far as looking like a hen or cockrell.

You knew it was bound to happen and I'm honestly surprised a thread doesn't already exist, so...let's talk about these Mosaics from Gold Feather Farms!

I realize many of you think they're a fad, and that's okay. I, personally, think that the chickens are gorgeous and I'm excited to have them in my flock! Anyone else? I got fortunate and won my six in a FB chicken raffle so maybe I'm in a different position for not being out a ton of money if they aren't what I expect, but so far, they're fabulous eye candy and some of the most beautiful chicks I've seen.

Jury is still out on these kids vs boys or girls but I do kinda suspect that I'm looking at 4 boys out of 6 chicks. It's still early though (I think they're about 3 weeks old now) and fortunately I have a nearby friend who picked some up too, so we may trade a bit, if need be.

Beautiful birds. I bought a dozen of eggs en Ebay from a person who got her flock from Green Farms. Four chicks hatched out. Two boys and two girls. They're two weeks now and healthy and beautiful. They really do have blue skin, beak and even if you check their throat is blue as well. I'll attach some pictures when they just hatched. And a couple of pictures of the two cockerels how they look now. Unfortunately I have to sell the boys because I'm not allowed to have roosters where I live. I wish I could keep them to be able to breed them.

I looked on ebay and i had one picked out and then they sold rhe last egg pack befire i could get ir XD. Everyone else on ebay i saw didn't seem to have great looking stock

i’m not sure if this thread is still alive but i just got a mosaic chick and was wondering what the sex is. i think it’s about 2-3 months old. i’ve attached three recent and one when it was a bit younger. :)
