That is one difference between here and Braingle... on there you hit Image and a window pops up for you to paste in the picture's location (all that http stuff)... on here it just inserts the frame code into the post and then you have to paste that location info in between the brackets. One space too far in either direction and it won't take. And of course if the location info you copy isn't the right one in the first place then it won't work. OR if there's a block not allowing pics from a particular site to be linked to other places (uses up bandwidth) then it won't work.
When I'm copying pictures I usually right click, go to properties, and then copy ALL the info where it says Location...
To Copy
Highlight with mouse, right click, Copy
OR highlight and press Control and C
To Paste
Click in the exact spot (that'd be between the middle brackets here), right click, Paste
OR Click (or arrow) to the exact spot and press Control and V
If you make a mistake press Control and Z... UNDO!
Control and X is cut... same usage as copy, except that it CUTS the info from it's original state, to be pasted elsewhere.
Copy just takes a copy of the info.
Cut won't be offered as a choice in places where you can't Cut. IE try to Cut the title of this Topic, you can't. But you CAN Copy it.
^Using right click and the drop menu... if you highlight the title and press Control and X (to Cut) nothing will happen.
If you press Control and C then the info is Copied for later use.
