Most friendly chicken breeds

My definition of a friendly chicken is one who doesn't run or fuss when you pick them up and enjoys being held, hangs out with you etc. My BO and one of my BRs are definitely super friendly and my other BR (smaller) is friendly as well. My two ameraucanas however are not. They will eat from my hand (or try to eat my hand if I've got a really good treat) but if I try to pick them up it is a chicken race and then squawking and wing flapping. They will eventually calm but they are not friendly in my mind at all. Their eggs better be REALLY pretty. ;)

Our Golden Comets were sweet and very friendly when I was growing up. They sat on our arms and shoulders like big parakeets; I let one sit on my head once - bad idea as chicken poo isn't fun in hair. We carried them around and held them, and they played with us. They would always come running to us. They were awesome.

Time will tell with my Buckeyes and Dominiques.

Out of my barred rock and EE, my EE loves to be held and petted. But my barred rock does not like being held (in my lap) or petted. She tolerates me carrying her around but that's it. She isn't necessarily unfriendly because she will follow me around and sit next to me, she just doesn't like being held and petted :b every chicken has a different personality. I could tell the day I got them which one was going to be the cuddlier one
