~~~~ Most Handsome Roosters Contest!!!~~~~~
Wow everyone's roosters make mine look ugly! Lol!!
Here is Tristan my Leghorn rooster. He is a very nice boy super super kind to the hens, humans, and even chicks! He is a bit nervous of humans but not to the point of aggression. He is kind but runs away from you lol. If you catch him he will not bite :D
but i still love him :D he does protect his hens when he needs to, he killed a small hawk a while ago. Right now he is staying with my friend along with my 3 hens her 2 hens and her rooster (he is staying with my friend because im moving) I love him to death and think he is the coolest rooster ever! :D
This is Tweet (As in my username). He is a 4 month old Serama cockerel. He can be a shy guy with all the normal sized chicks, but to me, he is nothing but a big sweetheart! He LOVES bread and oranges, apples and oats. My 5 week old chicks are bigger than he and his friend Pete!
Tweet was the first chick of my first hatch. I have never done a (successful) hatch before, so I thought I would give Seramas' a try. Well Tweet was the first of two to hatch. He zipped his way right out of that shell. His BFF, Pete, on the other hand, needed a bit of help. Pete has a crooked beak and only one useful eye. But he's an adorable, friendly bird!
This is Tweet now.
That's him. And his brother, Pete, behind him.
And this is him as a baby. Isn't he adorable!? Sorry for the blurry picture. I had to snap it with my webcam.
And this is Pete as a baby. One handsome roo! Mr. One-Eyed-Crooked-Beak! LOL.
Pete again. His one un-useful eye. He hasn't opened it, and I don't think he ever will. He can't see very well, so he doesn't eat as much. He pecks the ground instead of his food, since his sight is all messed up. I have to hold him and hold the food to his good eye. THEN he eats it. But sometimes he pecks the air instead. But so far, Pete has been doing good.
