Most interesting hybrid show we have the results!

This is twinkle and twilight, twinkle is the smooth cockerel and twilight is the frizzle pullet.
They are cross between a frizzle birchen cochin and a black ameraucana.
Here they are at 2 weeks.

Actually, to think about it, I think a hybrid is a mix of two or more of anything, pretty much, I know that wasn't discriptive, but i think you've got the point.

I once had an 11 lbs cockrel at 11 months of age who was a cross of Buff Orp and a Meyer hatchery Jet Black Australorpy looking bird that also had Ameraucana in him. Then bred the offspring to each other. Here is one of the kids.
Not too sure what color he is. He is not Black!

I would post waaaay more, but the limit is 5 so I picked some of my best ones.

This is Claud, my Toulouse/Saddle Back Cross. He's such a sweety

This is Spot, our flock rooster. He's all the hens' favorite.

This is Harlequin. This hen has a new color on her literally every time I step outside. Have never been able to duplicate her.

This is Lilac. I absolutley LOVE her coloring. I've only had a few hens ever turn out like her. I think she has some Campine in her.

And last but not least, is Yard Egg. I know she's just a chick, but I couldn't help but post her because of her cute little raccoon markings!

Hope you enjoyed them!
