Most money spent???

I've adopted 2 that were private adoptions... that WAS expensive! Another was through the state (foster child), so the State paid for that one.

Probably my most expensive purchase and my favorite piece of furniture was my dining room table. Wish I had a photo to share... handmade, inlaid table, 7 ft. long. Hubby was out of town on business when I made this purchase.

He forgave me after he saw it!

$660 in lingere in Feb. Lost weight and nothing fit so replaced the whole drawer at once.

Mine was just a recent purchase. I bought my wife a Honda Big Red a few months ago (~12k) in an effort to help "stimulate the economy"... oh, who am I kidding...this was her "dream present"...and she puts up with my nonsense, so she more than deserves it!

My favorite is when she drives me around our property while I ride shotgun...literally!

bought 2 yamaha 4 wheelers and a trailer to haul them on the day before my husband deployed. they cost us $21,158.00. that is the most we have spent on a play item in our lives. Then there is the 57 inch LCD tv that was 8,000 a few years ago. and my barn (which we built last year) that cost us about 4 grand.

Of course there is the house and the cars and all that jazz that makes me SICK when I think about them!!!

so those are my top three

I paid $1000 for my thoroughbred "Boyd" aka "PigPen" and paid $1200 for my daughters shetland pony (included cart and harness). We don't have the shetland anymore, as she had to be pts and the neighbors bought her a welsh pony to replace her (it was their fault she had to be pts).

This was how much I spent. Dh has a ranger bass boat that he paid $16k for...... I have been on it twice LOL!

I probably spent $5k on my bathroom remodel job.

Second to that, my biggest impulse purchase was my china that I bought in Paris 3 years ago. It's a service for 8 of Limoges dishes. They're beautiful and make me happy. I've never figured out how much they cost me in all. It's well over $1000. I've never seen them in the USA and my German friends who just visited hadn't even seen them in Germany.
