Mother Hen With Parasites

Hello, today my hen hatched her first ever chick! But the problem I have is that she appears to have some lice. I only noticed the other day and I am wondering if it is safe to put on while she is still sitting on the chick? Or wether it would be okay to wait until she is out of the nesting box? If so I have some parasite powder that I have used before that works well.

I would give her 4 drops of pour-on ivermectin (the sort sold for treating pigeons here in the UK) on the back of her neck; that will kill any bloodsuckers on or in her without risk to the chick, and as she's not laying no worry about egg withdrawal period either.
