I'm not sure about everyone else but this has been a bad moth year for us. We have had a whole lot of the nasty critters. I was hating them until I watched one of our 4 week old hens jump up and grab one of the air. Then all the chickens were fighting over it. I call that my lightbulb moment.

We have a moth trap. It's a fan with a light on the front and a container to hold the trapped moths. It catches and holds them really well. We'd been throwing them away. Now I catch them and bring the container out to the coop. They go crazy for them. Give it a try!

It's a moth trap. The only way it would kill the moths is if you never emptied the tray. They'd obviously be stuck in it till they died. I've been feeding them to the chickens alive.
