Moulting Andalusian lost her spots!

My little Splash Andalusian, Ajax, has recently finished her moult, and her feathers have grown back and she looks beautiful again.
However, she hardly has any spots left! She used to be covered in blueish-black speckles and now there are very few.
Is this normal? Will her spots come back? Well, I don't care if she has the spots, she is still a hoot and has a huge personality, but I'm curious. I've never seen a hen change significantly in color after her moult before.

I had one of my EE hens change significantly when her feathers grew back in after moult. She used to be a "dirty"white, but her feathers grew in a light brown. I kept thinking that she was getting really dirty from the wet weather we had, but no - different feather color.
