Moulting or not?

the hens aren't laying at the moment and I've been told maybe its because they're moulting, but I thought there would be more feathers as 3 of our 4 aren't laying. Help please

Could be a molt. Sometimes the yard looks lke a chicken exploded, and sometimes you don't see many feathers or much sign they are molting. I do see some feathers there.... This article talks about molting
