I love having my "poultry dog" (my border collie guards my flock). I don't have a top on my chicken run cause he barks at hawks and will fight off any raccoon.

I like bears. if they aren't with in 20 yards.... changed my mind. I like bears if they aren't with in 20 miles. I would so scared to have a bear in the yard

I heard on a different website that bears are usually attracted to coops and barns because of their feed. Do you have it stored near the coop or somewhere close? I've never had experience with bears, I was just reading.
