It's not selfish, you just love her so much and you don't want to lose her. Not all chickens live forever, but they still live on in your heart. Thats what I learned from Lupita, she was seriously sick and I cuddled with her. Then I said," It's okay to let go". Then she passed away the next day.She has IB. We tried treating her, but it didn't work. Lately, she doesn't move for ages and she can't cluck anymore. She seems so sad, and it feels really selfish to keep her alive just because I want her to stay with us forever.![]()
