My dad called both our chiropractor and his sister. (My aunt who is a nurse.) The chiropractor amazed us and told us that he works on dogs as well as people and even told us he knows some vets who do even more spinal work on dogs than he does on people! And then my aunt was very supportive of the drug the vet gave us, Prednasone and said it should really help with the swelling.

Yes!!! I'm so glad. I will still be praying!!

YES!
Thank you both! Simba is still in tons of pain but at least there is hope.

Wow I'm tired! I read that as "Jill ate a couple of star bursts tonight!":gig
That's wonderful news though!

Wow! You are tired! :lau :hugs

Yes! I'm super glad! My dad and I are going to check out our local feed store and our fleet supply store and try to find some SafeGuard or Ivermectin and worm all the chickens tomorrow. (We don't have a TSC even remotely close to us, and our stores have a really bad worming meds selection.)

Here is the house from google street view.
The playground there was built 3 months before we left
What looks like a tree stump that is in front of the house is a small statue that my dad brought home

(Statue more clear here)
And that shed would be a chicken coop if we still lived there.
