Have you tried scrubbing down the coop? Lice are so nastyOh. Darn it. My chickens have had lice for at least the past year. I keep dusting them with a poison stuff meant specifically for lice/Mites on poultry bought at our local feed store. Well, they still have it 5 months after the first appliance. I just wished they would all die! So I was hoping that you or someone else would have experience and be able to tell me what I could do to murder all the creepy bugger things. *shudders* They are so nasty!

WOW. THOSE ARE BEAUTIFUL PICTURES!!!!! *-*
Try ACV. If you have a small flock, and the weather is warm enough, you can try bathing them in an ACV/water mix. It works really well. Then, you can use some ACV in the coop to kill any leftover lice. The little red insects are probably Tetranychus Urticae or Red Spider Mite. They're nothing to worry about, since they only feed on plants and dwell in wooden areas. We get tons of them over here, especially on the aviary.Yeah. Tomorrow I will be doing it again. And then I think I shall put some DE down, and sprinkle some poultry dust I the coop, and do it all again in 10 days. Yup. I agree, lice are the nastiest things ever. Oh, and a few times I have seen some little red bugs (They look like baby spiders) in their coop. You don't think those are mites, do you?

I have pictures of plentyyyyy.

Some of those really capture the British weather. XD
**Dylan is trusted with the ducks, he wouldn't attack them. Even when they were hiding in their house, he didn't hurt them (he just ate their poo.... yum)**
