Sad to say the last egg was also dead. Somebody on craigslist has some already hatched button quail though, I am seeing if they still have any.

Thank you, I just got a email saying that person had one more that hatched the 11th of October but they are having more hatch!

I am still upset about the eggs but knowing there are some available nearby takes much stress off my shoulders.

Actually I'd probably slap them. but that owl is ADORABLE. I saw one of those at a park the other day (not wild, tho.) they're so cute and tiny and I want one
