I have to be a morning person and night. Sled dogs dont usually want to get up when they usually go to bed lol. (Or at least mine.) But during a race you could be running them from 4 am to 12 am. Depending on what type of race of course. So in race like the Iditarod, you could go for day with about 3 hours of sleep per night.


True. A guy who lives a couple miles from my house ran the Iditerod this year.

I love how the younger mushers get to race with the adults to. Sadly I'm not sure what breed she runs. Her grandmother is Jamie Nelson, Iditarod veteran and record holder as 4 time winner of the full length Beargrease.
