I volunteer at a therapeutic horseback riding place and today was my first "lesson" experience. Didnt go so well. I was the only one there with horse experience other than the instructor, one horse had an arthritis "flare-up" in her hip and collapsed. Luckily, the rider was emergency dismounted safely before the collapse. I'm worn out...

My dad found this baby dove this evening and we put it in our used bird cage we have outside. I gave it water and some bananas I mushed up with some water and fed it with a syringe. My dad put feed in the cage, but I think it ate it since I felt some in its crop? We don't have a heat lamp and we have to leave it outside. it's been really hot lately (102 F) so I don't know if it's a good thing or bad thing. It's pretty warm out at night so. ?
I really hope it survives, I hate to see birds die
