X2! I use a ton of different pencils, charcoals, paints, papers, etc. and they make the pictures a ton better. XD

Charcoal gets everywhere

I am not a fan of charcoal way too messy

I have sticks encased in wood, like pencils. XD
At first, it was difficult to use, but I think I've improved a lot with it.

Cool. That sounds a ton easier (and less messy). Whenever I do pencil sketches, I prefer my mechanical pencil because it doesn't smear nearly as much as a set of pencils or charcoal, but it blends enough to look good

You should get some drawing pencils and paper, they can have a really big impact on your sketches
