Before I got my chickens, I thought bears were the coolest thing. But ever since I got my girls I have been afraid of them. (I also was chased by one!) Whenever they come around I freak out!
YupYou were chased by a bear?!
Ok so I went for a bike ride early one morning. When I came back there was a bear in the yard scratching at a tree. I started to back away and park my bike. The bear was between me and the house door. The only way I could get inside was if I went behind the house, back by the chicken coop to the back door. I stared moving that way, not making eye contact with the bear. All of a sudden he stopped scratching and looked right at me. He then charged. I ran behind the house. I opened the outside door and found that the inside door was LOCKED! I pounded as hard as I could on the door trying to wake my parents up who were still asleep on the other end of the house. Somehow, by God's grace, my dad heard me and came to open it. Luckily, I got in before the bear reached me!Story time!
