So I have a question: If chickens don't have head feathers then could it be that they have mites?!

I have had these 2 chickens with missing head feathers for a while now, and am now worried!!!

Do they have calcium? How about food, water and nests? Are they hiding their egg? The daylight can really be contributing to it. Chickens need 14-16 hours of light a day to lay eggs.

Are they squatting? Red faces are a sign they are close but doesn't always mean they should start right away
