Can I ask you all to pray for my flock? It's supposed to drop to -15 or -20 tonight. I'm NOT leaving a heat lamp on all night because of fire hazards and egg laying mess-ups. I got the coop up to 48 degrees. I also rubbed vaseline on their combs. Please pray that their coop doesn't get to 10 degrees or lower and pray they all survive!!!

Same for me! We are going to have a -9 night for me. Ours usually do pretty good. We do have twenty chickens though. Lol

Oh okay. If you really wanted to.. you could put them all in tubs without the lids... and put mesh on the top.. then just put them in the garage.

It's -8 here right now. But it feels like -23 and we have a windchill/frostbite warning. Ugh, sometimes I hate living in Northern Minnesota.

Yeah of course!! If this helps at all, in S.D (South Dakota) some people never give their hens heat lamps. They will huddle together and be perfectly fine. I will pray
