So this pullet keeps staying away from the others not moving a whole lot and ruffling up her feathers. She is eating and drinking and scratching a little. I'm hoping that it's just the cold

Emmm...i dont know, but with my hens when they stand like that they are usually eggbound! I dont know, but thats what i THINK!

Welll, in this pic she is like standing funny and it looks like she is pushing a bit on her "behind"! Her down/feathers underneath her vent are alos "standing out" so it looks like she "thinks" somehting is coming out (her egg) but it cant...

The problem is....if she IS eggbound...they usually cant lay on their own....

You'll have to find an article on 'Chicken EggBoundness" or soemthing...i think you would have to pull it out or soemthing...i just stick a needle in her butt then suck everything out the eggs, then just wait...the egg usually cracks and she can then "pooop" it out!
