@silkiecuddles , I too have some chicks hatching right now. As long as the chick is moving around and acting normal I would leave it. (it's best not to open the incubator while they are still hatching) the chick will be fine staying in the incubator for a day or two. Some breeds will hatch a little early, so that's not too unusual. I hope you have a good hatch!

Ok, thanks. I'm getting help on a couple other threads. 3 chicks so far and 6 ducklings. I left the newest 3 ducks in the bator but moved the rest to a brooder. I'm gone for the day, but someone's giving me updated on them.
