I've been good, I'm getting my braces in two days!

Excited and a bit down because I won't be able to eat some of my favorite foods because they might get stuck in the braces.

I felt the same way. I had braces for 2 years, and got them off back in March, 2013. I was one of the first people my age to be done with braces. It is at this time now that everyone else is getting theirs off.

I chewed gum with my braces (sugar free is best the orthodontist said). Nothing bad ever happened. The only time something bad did happen was with a cough drop.
@TamingMaster why are you annoyed?
