I'm going to get some hens, which breed would you recommend?

Maybe Australorps? I do not own chickens but I have heard Austras are friendly. But I don't know about eggs.

I've heard Buff Orpingtons and Australorps are really sweet.

Rhode Island Reds are my favorite breed. The hens are super sweet, lay plenty of eggs, and are great foragers! I also love Red Sex Links.

Buff Orpington (They are sweet, friendly, Good layers, and have really fluffy butts!!! ) Easter eggers (sweet, friendly, cute, fun eggs. Sold as americanas or under other similar names)
