I've been having issues with fish today. (I am aware that this sounds like a stupid statement.

) This morning I was fishing off the dock for panfish, I caught a bluegill but it self released and fell onto my foot, spiny side down. Now I have several puncture wounds on my foot from that. Then this afternoon I got bit twice on my fingers by a northern pike.

Ow! We were cleaning a catfish and we saw how big the spines were. But being bit? That must really hurt. I got bit by a toothless fish and it hurt. How are your bites and spines(?)?

Sure! For the bluegills I just used worms on a basic hook and bobber, for the bass and northerns my dad and I each casted with a jointed Rapala.

Ah, that's good that it's alright! My little sis once left my iPhone outside for almost two months, and all I had on it was a cheap $3 case. When I found it I put it in a bag of rice to absorb the water for a month, and it SURVIVED!! After that I invested in a Otterbox to protect it better.

Yeah, catfish have big spines, I'd hate to be spined by one.

Ow!! I got bit by a largemouth bass yesterday, they don't have teeth but it still hurts. My bites and spines are alright, one of the bites hurts more than the other stuff, but that's because the bite is on my thumb. I've seen big northerns bite my dad way worse though, so I shouldn't complain.

I didn't think school was going to be THIS hard this year.

In the homeschool community I'm in, sounds like the toughest years of school of all are this and next year. I'm technically working harder and have more work than my brother who is three years older. I won't be on BYC much at all.

No problem! That is amazing that y'all catch so many fish. And thank you for the baits. I have never really tried both. Would you think carp would go after jointed rapalas?
Yeah, it scared me to death when that can exploded. If this laptop does not work after 24 hours, I will try the rice! The sister leaving the Iphone out, that sounds like something my little sister would do.
