One of the advantages of owning a lodge is that people notice things more easily. SO many people have fallen in love with the chickens here. One of our long-term rentals last year worked for a phone company and asked if she could put a pic of the girls in the new phone book for fun. (Our phone books have random pics of animals from around Estes.) And here they are

Do you guys have poisonous snakes in CO? I'm glad we don't here. Just garter snakes. 

We just have garter snakes and red bellied snakes here.

We just have garter and rattlesnakes around here, thankfully.

Rattlesnakes are pretty bad though...

They have a really bad neurotoxin.
