I just encountered one of the sweetest things ever!! I was walking home from the post office and as I crossed the bridge, I noticed several cars backed up on the road from some reason. I looked a ways down the road towards downtown where all the beautiful, Christmas lights are up and saw two elk, one male and one female, walking side-by-side down the road next to the river and Christmas lights.

It looked like a scene from a Christmas card.

It's so so. :/ Feathers was away from the flock and in the house for three days, but when I put her back with them Jackie, Pebbles, and Snow White started jumping on her back and attacking her. Then Snow White chased her 30 feet from the coop. Poor baby. I have no idea why they turned on her so fast. Jill was away from them for almost two weeks and they accepted her back without a fuss. So I'm stressed and worried about that. On the happier side of things, my friend and I are going to the Planet Wisdom conference tomorrow-Sunday afternoon. So that means I probably won't be on BYC this weekend. (Which is not a happy thing. LOL. I'll miss you guys!)
