Today has been so horrible. I just feel like giving up. The garden's flooding, I barely finished fixing one door on the coop, I've smashed all of my fingers up and Pinkie is probably dying.![]()
Thanks Sarah. She's exactly the same as Lovey was. It's horrible to watch.
I found her collapsed in the mud.

Sweet!!!!
I'm so sorry, Shannon.I'll pray for you and Pinkie.
Do you think that maybe you have an illness going through your flock?
That's really sad! Like Bella said, do you think they have a contagious sickness?
Yup!!!
Thanks Bella.![]()
Most definitely. Pinkie has exactly what Lovey had. I don't think Marigold and Egglantine have it, but they are getting thin and a bit pale. I don't know what to do though.I can't take them to the vet and I don't know what medicine to give them. I don't even know what they have.

Yeah.
I'm seriously losing it. I don't know what to do.I just watch as they die, one by one.![]()
Okay, calm down. I would look up their symptoms online. I'd give her aspirin and ACV in her water. These won't hurt her even if they aren't what she needs to specifically target the problem. Make sure she is warm and calm. Is she isn't drinking, use a syringe and drop it down her throat or dip her beak. Do you have any herbs handy? These will help tremendously!
I think they have Coccidiosis.![]()
Pinkie's asleep right now. In the coop. If she's still alive in the morning, I'll try those.
I don't know what aspirin is and I don't think we have it.![]()
We have a little ACV, but no herbs.
I don't know if she's drinking or not. I just assumed she was, because she was yesterday. She was eating yesterday too. I don't know about today though.![]()
I would start a thread in the emergency area here on BYC. Even though you can't talk face-to-face with a vet, there are tons of experienced members on here who can give you just as good of advice- if not better.
Definitely use ACV then.
