I always wash my hands and change my clothes. I hose my boots down too. I don't chance it. I'd even go as far as bathing straight after handling them, most times. I don't want anything spreading between the chickens, ducks and cockatiel, even if there's no sign of sickness. It's just same species spread now.
I don't know what's going to happen. My gut is telling me that Pinkie won't make it, but I'm still selfishly hoping she might.

Your a very dedicated pet parent. It's not selfish to hope she lives, she's one of your BFFs (Best Feathered Friends).

What hurts most is that I was so excited about 2016, and entering it with all of my family and pets. Even though everyone said Scruff would die before the New Year, I kept my hopes up. Then, all of this. Chilli, Lovey and, now, Pinkie. I'm going to miss them so much and nobody even understands. And I know that Pinkie won't be there when I wake up. The look in her eyes said that she couldn't fight it anymore.

This broke my heart.. I wish there was some way to prevent this.

My 2016 hasn't been starting the most smooth..but it is nothing compared to that. I feel unexplainably bad for you..
