Yes king cockatoos are part of the parrot family so they would be large. Although there are some fairly small parrots, such as grass parakeets. But that's about it on small parrots. Even standard parakeets are pretty large

My favorite cockatoos are rose-breasted and goffins.Both are smaller than the more popular cockatoo species but, are relatively quieter and easier to tame.
