Ugh, today on the news, there was someone who was charged with animal abuse, and the animals who he abused were chickens! Apparently he was teaching them to fight other hens, and he would put them in rings and watch them fight...and all his friends found that it entertaining.... How can someone think that? The birds were all beat up, there was this beautiful roo, well, would be beautiful if the idiot cared for him, luckily the birds are at a vet.
That is TERRIBLE!

Um guys, I don't know if you've had a chicken experience this, but Lupe has been acting weird. Her tail is drooped and seems easily scared than usual, she runs away from things that are small, and squawking like its chasing her. She's acting cautious, but she's eating, walking, etc fine. But laying down a lot.

And she's separating herself from the others.. :(

Awwwww I'm sorry. I had a duck who did this, she sadly passed after a few days. I have another duck (drake named Farkle) who is afraid of water and won't swim with the flock but is 6 years old so obviously he is in good health

Separate her from the other chickens, then see if you can figure out what's wrong with her or try to find any other symptoms. Then, asked the more experienced members of BYC what they think it is and how to treat her. I hope she'll be alright. :( :hugs
