I've never been to prom, (Though I could've done my youth group's $10 Prom this year.) and the only ball I've ever been to was a daddy-daughter ball back when I was about 7 or so. My sisters went to a daddy-daughter ball about two or maybe three years ago, but I didn't go. It sounds so dumb, but I really hope a guy from my youth group will ask me to prom next year. Lol.

Doesn't sound dumb at all. Even though I agree with the whole CC/homeschool idea of parental guidance all throughout their kids' prom and stuff, I do still wish the guys were required to ask the girls to go with them...because I want to see if any boy would actually want to take me.

I am sure any guy would be happy to go with you, Bella!

I would be curious too if someone would ask me, although I'm not really into dances or even really dating or anything. Relatives think I'm weird, but whatever.... Just waiting' for the right person I guess. :p

That's good thinking. I don't really have an interest in dating either but rather just remaining single and trusting God to bring my perfect man to me in His perfect timing. The more I learn about dating in today's culture, the more I'm grateful with the fact I haven't experienced heartbreak or been involved with anything like that. I'm very content with where I am right now, but the thing I'm looking froward to most in my future, is one day being married to the man God knows is right for me.

Yeah, that makes sense that they would do that so nothing goes, "to far" so to say. I can't see how any guy wouldn't want to take you to prom Sarah! Your so beautiful, inside and out. :D

Awww, thanks. To bad only two guys in my youth group actually talk to me, and I only see them as friends, not someone I'd want to date. Lol. Oh well, if God wants me to go to prom, then he'll have the right guy ask me to it.

It's 2am, I'm in bed, and all I can hear is two cats trying to kill each other. -_-

Yikes. :hugs Sometimes at obscene hours in the morning I'll hear my cats fighting in the basement. :barnie

I just realized that today is my one year BYC anniversary. Yay!

Congratulations!!! :clap :) My two year BYC anniversary is in May.
