What's that plaid lookin' flower (second picture)?

My Mum tells me that it's a Fritillaria Meleagris (Snake's Head Fritillary).

Never saw one like it... It's very... unique. Even the name

I think Pookie might be a boy...

"She" behaves like a boy, looks like a boy, sings a ton of songs (which girls aren't supposed to do), even "her" personality is like a guy. Every sign is pointing to her actually being a him.
I knew something was wrong. I just knew it. XD
Not changing his name though. XD

Lady Marigold and Lady Egglantine both have spurs, huge combs and curved tail feathers now. @-@

Jackie has spurs and a huge comb too. But I've seen her in the nest box laying eggs, so I know she's a hen.
