Ugh... got bit by a horse tonight... on the thigh. Thankfully the teeth didn't break the skin cuz of my jeans, but it's bruised pretty bad. The same horse tried to nip my stomach, too. That would've hurt a lOT worse! Luckily, he only grabbed my shirt... pays to wear oversized t-shirts!

My hens do that when they're in the next box when they're broody. They scream really loud and lift their tail feathers over their head!

When Sparrow was broody, she would bite really hard, get a grip of skin, and shake it like she's trying to rip the skin off! Mean mamas!

LOL, I'd expect that from a broody but she isn't broody, she'll do that to anyone and everyone who disturbs her while she's laying.

Ugh, that hurts. Glad it's not to bad though, and hope you get better soon. :hugs Where I ride, there's a Quarter Horse gelding and when we you're grooming by his stall he'll reach his head out and bite you. :/

I picked him to lead because I know him and he's never like this. After I put him in his his stall later, and the other horse got led in to be put in cross ties, they broke into an all out fight through the door. Rearing up, kicking at each otherand nipping. I've never seen him do this. All the horses were acting strangely, even my Cinnamon who lives here at the house, 20 miles away!
Everytime I laid a hand on her side (not in a blindspot) she would jump. Nothing that a bit of lunging didn't fix, but she's never like that... I got her to do a little lope. Scoping out a large flat area to set up barrels. The only place is my gram's yard and I don't want to make it muddy.
