It hurts (a lot) if you don't stretch beforehand. But, as long as you are warmed up, like I was, it doesn't hurt much at all.
So, are you learning ballet? Or? I have a lot of respect for ballet dancers, it looks very difficult and uncomfortable. And the concentration and control they have is remarkable.

Yes, I've been dancing for about 12 years now, 6 or 7 of which I have been in ballet.

I would like to try dancing, obviously I wouldn't take it as seriously as you, I think I'm too old now to start taking ballet/gymnastics seriously anyway, seems you have to start very young for that. But maybe like those Zumba classes old women go to :lol: Okay, maybe not. But something.
