My duck.peep.he's gone!killed probly.i feel SO GULTY!on one hand it's a good thing so I don't have to give him away, and he will stop attacking my chickens.but on the other, I miss him and my female duck Is really upset!

I am very odded out right now though.No feathers.No blood.No remains.Nothing.i have had this happen before.with by baby girl sunshine.came home, gone.No feathers.i had something attack my flock, none killed, but I can't find out what the creature is.

Well I'm positive it's not a raccoon or an opossum, they usually kill the prey close to where they found it and you will probably find a pile of feathers close by. Maybe a dog got in grabbed you're duck and left. Sorry for your loss, I had a rooster very similar to your duck but he was killed by 3 raccoons while he protected the flock

See, it can't be a dog.i have a VERY long driveway.and my dog, was inside.im sorry for you.roosters are very protective of his ladies.

Yeah, sometimes he attacked people wich wasn't very good and that's probably why I was the only one who was sad when he died, but I got all three raccoons. Does your run have an open top? Maybe a hawk or owl got in?
