That's good! I understand! Being sore is awful! I'm doing good......but I have a bit of a story to share, it's kinda funny and also very painful. So we have these wooden chicken cages that are raised up off the ground. They're sorta like rabbit hutches but way more secure, my dad and brother made them so they're customized. Anyways, I opened the one where Mooey is and she flew out and onto the bar where the door (which rises up) rests when it's closed. I forgot to put the lock latches down so the door hit the wall of the goat stall and was headed straight for my little Moo Cow. I didn't really feel like poor, little Moo Cow getting crushed, so the only thing I could do was block it with my head. So I dove in with my head and sure enough it HURT! It got like my "eyebrow bone", and even closing my left eye just a little hard hurts. And lightly touching it hurts too. So yeah, it's pretty painful, but at least I saved my Mooey. Other than that I'm great!

Ouch!

My grandma came this weekend to visit and brought the kitty!! I had a bit of a photo shoot! We are going to plan on keeping him as a barn cat, he's super fiesty and loves being outside and hunting.

Guys, yeterday I noticed one of my hens wasn't doing to well. She Is the lowest on the pecking order. For the past couple of nights she wouldn't get on the roost. I noticed the fat day before she was just standing in a bucket. She did the same thing. Worried, I grabbed the bucket. She didn't even try to move. She just closed her eyes. I brought her into the garage and put her in a more comfortable place. She was really light. Felt like only a pound. She is suppose to be really heavy (she's a barred rock). Well, I saw one of her poops, and she definitely had worms. We tried to give her dewormer but she wouldn't eat anything. This morning when I checked on her, she was dead. She was one of our favorite hens.

I'm so sorry.

Harriet is really friendly.she needs her daily cuddles or she gets mad at me.

My RIR hen Jill needed her daily cuddles and Cheerios or she would get mad at me. (She also loved her baby oatmeal
And Kaytee baby bird food)
