Aw. I know how that is.. we never go to the cinema, we wait for the DVD. ;-;
My chicken usually gets fresh red scabs, then they turn black as they 'dry out'. I don't know if it's the same with anyone else.
As far as separating goes, you probably should (especially if you have a large flock). I didn't with my hen, because I only have two chickens and they're easy enough to treat together.

I have a dog crate I could put her in but I'm worried not seeing her buddies will stress her out more. Maybe I could keep the dog crate in the coop so she can see the other chickens but not get pecked on. That way I can find out of she really has pox or is being bullied. Not sure if that's a good idea or I'm being over reactive?
